PLANNING CONTEXT AND ASSUMPTIONS

Church property site is not within a conservation area. 

Church property is not locally listed. 

Propose new designs to link the church auditorium to the hall

To provide a DDA compliant Toilet for the main auditorium and the Hall (one toilet should suffice)

To provide DDA compliant access to the Church auditorium

To provide DDA compliant access to the Hall

To re-design the Hall to include storage space, toilets, kitchen

To provide technical Design proposals for the approved scheme

Windows to be replaced or upgraded to include security to prevent vandalism and burglary

Propose energy saving alternative sources of energy (to be developed with a competent energy assessor)

Maximise and manipulate natural light to the deeper areas within the house. 

 Clever intuitive storage solutions. 

Janitor Room / Utility Room (Essentially a back of house space to service storage requirements for the church premises)

Nursery/Creche Area-

 Food Bank

Tea/Coffee mornings

Yoga/Wellbeing multi-function space

Hall also available to the community

Church for All – Premise to be used not only on Sundays but through out the week
